Meet Dr. Nellie Kim-Weroha

Dr. Nellie Kim

“The best part about being an orthodontist is creating the smiles that create happiness. Growing up with crooked teeth, I was self-conscious about my smile. Whatever the age (young children, teens, and adults), being confident about your smile will translate to improving all aspects of one's life. The profound impact of my smile transformation with orthodontic treatment inspired me to create the same confidence for others. I am honored to help everyone get a smile that reveals their inner beauty and gain internal happiness.” – Dr. Kim

Outside the Office

Dr. Kim moved to Rochester, MN in 2007 from Kansas City for her husband’s medical training at the Mayo Clinic. She feels fortunate to have joined GLK Orthodontics under the mentorship of Drs. Brent Larson, Terry Guenthner, and Arnie Hill. She has grown to love Rochester and is happy to call it home.  A mother to twin boys, Jaeden and Kobi, she stays busy with their activities.  Through connections with her patients and their families, Dr. Kim has been involved in the community, such as being a part of various events for non-profit organizations (MedCity Kids Martathon, Euro Soccer Team sponsor, sponsor of various Rochester Youth Sports teams), supporting local school activities and camps (Camp Moon-Hwa), and serves as a board member of the Korean Language School of Rochester.  The best part of participating in community events for Dr. Kim is seeing kids staying active in something that enriches their development.
